About Cottle Dynamics — Bristol-Based UAV Detection
Cottle Dynamics
Why now

The future threat is already the present one.

Cheap, capable UAVs are now available to anyone. Airports have grounded flights over sightings. Prisons, stadiums, and private estates have all reported incursions. The technology to detect them has existed for years — it's just never been priced, or sized, for anyone outside government and defense budgets.

"We didn't want to build another system that only a government could afford. We wanted the same idea behind a doorbell camera — cheap, self-contained, always watching — pointed at the sky instead of the porch."

Built in Bristol

Cottle Dynamics is an early-stage engineering company based in Bristol, UK. This site is our early reveal — SkyVeil is a working prototype, not yet a shipping product. SkyVeil started as a single founder's prototype — a way to prove that a low-altitude detection system didn't need a military budget or a subscription to be effective.

The current unit is a working pre-revenue prototype. It's being refined for reliability, weatherproofing, and manufacture ahead of its first production run — built the way it will ship: one sealed housing, on-device intelligence, and nothing to subscribe to.
